INSTALLATION

Install it right the first time.

Before applying a cover, confirm the kit is intended for your exact ladder model and step shape. Follow the kit instructions and ladder manufacturer’s warnings; keep safety labels, locks, and moving parts clear.

Prep

Clean the ladder surface and let it dry completely before installing any foam pieces.

Test fit

Set every piece in position before removing the adhesive backing so you can confirm placement.

Peel + place

Remove the backing and carefully align each piece before pressing it onto the ladder.

Press

Apply firm, even pressure across the full piece to help the adhesive make complete contact.

Yes. Ladder Ease help is for ladder owners across brands and styles, but a kit must match the exact ladder model and step dimensions. Werner 4-ft and 6-ft step-ladder kits are the models currently in stock. For another ladder, send the manufacturer, model number, ladder type, step measurements, and clear photos so we can check fit and availability. A Werner kit should not be assumed to fit a different model.

How do I know which Ladder Ease kit I need? +

Check your ladder brand, model number, and height before ordering. If you are unsure, send us the model number and a clear photo through the support form below.

What should I do before installing the foam? +

Clean the ladder surface, remove dirt or oil, and let the surface dry completely. Test-fit each piece before removing the adhesive backing.

What if an edge starts lifting? +

Check that the ladder surface was clean and dry during installation. If the problem continues, send us a photo and your order information so we can help troubleshoot it.

Can I clean Ladder Ease? +

Yes. Use mild soap and water and avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive tools that could damage the foam or adhesive.

What if a piece arrives damaged? +
